Circles and squares Snowflake from Martha's new book 'Playing with picots', I only finished this today and it is unpressed and thrown on the scanner so excuse the way it looks at an angle!
The really interesting part of the give-away post was reading what you all like (with the exception of few including my sister!) to listen to whilst tatting. I did research a few of your choices, particularly the ones that I was unfamiliar with, and thanks to Gill Devon who prompted me to watch 'The Choir' on BBC iplayer. Being once a serviceman's wife (I'm in the garage used to be in the Army) I could relate to how these wives live. Thank you Gill, and no not all husbands will make tatting shuttles, unfortunately! Perhaps you should try locking him the garage until he does!
Sadly it's true - I don't like music at all!!! I did see one other person like me too. Must try that snowflake too - it's so pretty.
ReplyDeleteLove this red, pretty snowflake!

ReplyDeleteHow very lovely! I don't recall that sticker being on the post when I made my comment (perhaps it was before my first cup of coffee that day). I'm thrilled to tears to have won something so pretty - now I'll just have to fight Girl Far From Home to keep it because she will surely want it. Thank you so much for hosting such a lovely giveaway! My address is on it's way to you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners! Love the snowflake... red would be perfect for my mom. I guess I'd better break out that red thread again!
