Bags and Bracelets

I have been given some lovely material, most of which has a nautical theme, so beach bags seem to be the obvious items to make from it.    I really don't get much time to spend on them so it is something I pick up every now and then but really enjoying making something that is big and bold!

And of course I made some more bracelets

  1. I did a double take... I thought the top bracelet said wine, and I thought, hmmm... a drinking bracelet? ;-)

    1. Well what a fab idea Diane a drinking bracelet - my friend Winn who I plan to give it to will be so amused

  2. And there's the thread I love once more - Mountain Breeze! You're right, the beach bag fabric IS striking and the bag looks as though it has come straight from a boutique!

    1. Must admit Maureen it is one of my favourite threads too. Wow thanks for the compliment about the bag, really means a lot to me now that I am in full production!

  3. Oh Sally, you awoke some lovely memories with your Isles of Scillies beach bag. We spent our honeymoon there, some fifty plus years ago! Hope you have enjoyed some holidays there.

    1. Actually Anne I have never been to the Isles of Scilly, the bag sort of says it all though about the place doesn't it? So pleased it brought back such treasured memories for you though.

  4. Sally, I think you should book a holiday there. There are so many beautiful islands for you to enjoy, and you could take your marvellous beach bag with you to show every one!

  5. I think you are right Anne, especially as the Scilly Isles are not too far from where I live in the South of England. Will research
