Today is the Feast of Epiphany and so I thought it was a very good day to offer a few gifts of my own. The shuttle is made from plum cherry and this is what it looked like before it was worked upon. Also the shuttle is unvarnished, sometimes this helps to show up the colours better. I completely understand, I am struggling to tat things with warmer weather and having to mow my lawn and I too am trying make shuttles. Your doily is very nice and will be worth the wait๐๐ฆ๐

DeleteI have seen other tatters reach this stage and am impressed with the way it looks at this point. I'd be tempted to say it is finished, because it's an eye-catching and unusual edge. However, I know it goes on to greater glory. I do give you credit for staying the course!
