Now I had lost these teapots when I tidied them away soon after lockdown. My aim was to put them onto cards, I can now do this, when I have found the cards! Just love this pattern from Martha Ess’s book ‘Tatting with buttons’.

The miniature teapot in the picture comes from Hong Kong, I bought it when we lived there and from time to time I think it should go but it is so unusual and therefore have not the heart to get rid of it.

  1. Love the teapot! I used to have a little teapot that was just right for one person. I like the tatted version too.

  2. I love Martha's patterns. I did her broomstick teapot in 20 and in King Tut. I have not done anything from her button book. Those are nice. Find those cards!

  3. Your teapot doesn't look miniature alongside the tatting! Reminds me a little bit of the
song "I'm a little teapot, short and stout, pick me up and pour me out" Showing my age now aren't I?

    1. Used to sing that song at Beaver Scouts.
I'm a little beaver short and stout, here is my tail and here is my snout
When you pull my tail hear me shout.
Hey I'm a Beaver cut that out (all with suitable actions)
